Plywood Processing Technology

1) Log cutting:

Usually import log length is more than 6 meters. Cutting according to the technology required length and quality. The cutting length should be product length add remains. For example, product is 1220mm*2440mm, cutting length usually be 2600mm or 1300mm. log length, camber and demerit affect plywood output directly. Remains are small wood pieces, truncations, sawdust, tec.

2) Veneer peeling:

Peeling is the most popular plywood producing process. Back veneer thickness is about 0.6mm, core veneer and centre veneer thickness is about 1.5/1.7/1.8/2.0mm.

3) Drying:

Veneer can be used only after dried, you can dry by sunshine, or you can use drying machine, this machine is not 

necessary, it’s according to your output. 

4）Glue spreader

This machine is simple but very useful, this can save large 

quantity of workers, only 1-2 workers can operate it.

5)Veneer Assemble line

This is also unnecessary machine ,it’s according to your need .this need lots of workers, every worker can produce 

about 60-70 pcs every day.

6) Cold press

this machine is good for plywood quality. Some old factories don’t use it ,but now,most of plywood factories use this machine ,it can increase output and quality.And this don’t need 

workers

7) Hot press

This is the important machine, this will directly influence the plywood quality. And this machine is the decisive factor of 

output, this need 2 workers ,and about 30-45 minutes every

15 pieces board.

8) Plywood cutting saw

This machine only need two workers ,every day can produc

about 1500-2000pcs board. Very useful and high 

efficiency.

9) Plywood sander

This machine has two models ,one type is single side, every time only sand one side and then turn over the plyboard 

then sand the other side, the other type is double side, everytime sandtwo side, don’t need turn over. This machine need two workers to operate

10) Warehousing:

Plywood is packing in palletize or in bulk
